The Strict Gate male chastity device is an interesting product, incorporating the thin and ergonomically shaped ring of the Holy Trainer with an attached with a comfortable silicon tube. The tube is attached to the ring by a cord, making it a two-piece assembly tightly bound together. The inclusion of the “promise ring” or “wedding ring” (as the manufacturer now calls it), added security over the earlier silicon models, essentially by solidifying the entrance to the tube.
The standard ring comes with the Strict Gate male chastity device. When in place, the diameter of the tube is 34mm, or about 1-1/3″. This is consistent with a Holy Trainer small tube version. The Lumino ring is the same as the standard ring, aside from the property that it glows in the dark. The Pico ring adds that extra bit of spice or security that a Birdlocked Pico offers, but more akin to the CB-X points of intrigue. The Stricto ring reduces the diameter to 27mm, or about 1-1/16″.
Strict Gate is only available in a short-cage version as of this writing.
Introduced in December 2016, the maker of the Birdlocked and Holy Trainer produced a hybrid using the best features of both products.
This approach solves several problems inherent to the original parent products:
- Birdlocked models have a very wide ring, making it impractical for a man with a high scrotum to put on and keep on comfortably and discretely.
- The flexible material of Birdlocked models make it easier for some men to escape without removing the padlock. The use of the Strict Gate promise ring (aka “wedding ring”) makes this much more difficult. It sits securely within a recess of the tube. And the choice of four different rings make it wear differently from each other, effectively making it as many as four chastity devices in one.
- Birdlocked models rely on a plastic locking strap to complete the assembly. The Strict Gate cage attaches with the same Magic lock as Holy Trainer.
- The assembled Holy Trainer could put stress on the lock, causing the material to weaken over time or break. Because the Strict Gate tube joint is made from silicon, the tube can’t really put any pressure on the magic locker, which should make it more durable.
As you might expect, not all products on the market work well for all men. Holy Trainer has been a very successful product, and many of those customers have tried the Strict Gate male chastity device. Early reviews of the product have been somewhat mixed, but the expectations were probably much higher due to the popularity of Holy Trainer. We’ve concluded that men with high scrotums need a little more slack to comfortably wear a Strict Gate, though not nearly as much as is needed to wear Birdlocked. The reason for this is the cord that attaches the tube to the ring, which can put additional pressure on the scrotum.
We always welcome feedback from our customers, and here are some samples we have received so far, clearly not all of it flattering. As a result, we have temporarily suspended sales of the product.
we have found that the rings have a tendency to move out of the ring channel within the tube. They can be pushed out and once that happens the device can be escaped.
I absolutely love it. I have been wearing it 24/7 since it arrived the beginning of January. It is by far the most comfortable and usable device I have tired (I bought the Holy Trainer from you back in 2015 and it is good but this is better).
Unfortunately, my testicles are very close to my body and the “cord” separating the two makes them uncomfortable.
